Lu Ye holds a Bachelor's degree in English from College of Mobile Telecommunications, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China and a Master's degree in Language and Education from University of Sheffield.

She is interested in Second Language Acquisition, Technology-Enhanced Language Learning, and Cognitive Processing. She is working on a project investigating the effects of different feedback modalities on Chinese EFL learners' cognitive processing and oral development in AI-mediated speaking interactions.
