Mrs Grace Warren
Grace Warren is a PhD student in Translation Studies who started at the University of Birmingham in September 2023 via the Distance Learning program.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Writing from the University of Pittsburgh (US) and Master’s degrees in Writing from Portland State University (US) and Translation Studies from the Open University (UK). She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers (NASW) and the American Translators Association (ATA).
Grace’s research goal is to create a methodology for translator (style) attribution. Her research interests include theory and methodology behind identification and classification systems across various fields, including stylometric analysis of original and translated texts; writing system development; and philosophy of science.
