Ms Daisy Collins
Daisy is a Postgraduate Researcher in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Birmingham and part of the Out Of Our Minds research group.
She obtained both her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and her Master’s by Research degree in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Birmingham.
Her focus is on psycholinguistics, investigating how written language is processed through experiment-based research. Her work in the team will be to use empirical research to investigate what knowledge native speakers of English have about the role of articles in their own language. This is for the purpose of improving the teaching of English as a foreign language.
